Sugar is a spayed female 2 1/2 year old Chocolate Heeler. A change in our household dynamics has created tension between her and our other female dog, and we have sadly come to the conclusion that it is best to find Sugar a new home. She came to us from Texas a year and half ago.
She is a sweet and loving girl who loves to cuddle and go for walks. Car rides and just being with her human are probably her favorite things! This little lady has a lot of energy, so will need a person or family that will take her on walks or has a big fenced in yard for her to run around. With the dynamics between Sugar and our other female dog, she has to stay in her kennel for several hours until I can switch them up. Is not fair and I cannot stand for her to have to be crated for so long.
She is fine with our male dogs, so a home with male dogs (or no other dogs) would be best. I have a house cat sugar is fine with, but slow introduction will be needed. Sugar can be timid around new people but will warm up to you if you let her get to know you. I am unsure how would be around kids, for I don’t have any close by, so it has always just been me and my husband and a few times a year, the lady that boards them when we vacation.
