Simba is white/ black colored male mini American (87.5%) and Australian (12.5%) Shepherd, He is two years and 11 months old born on October 13th, 2020. He has lots of energy, loves to play fetch, go on walks/hikes and loves attention. Simba likes people more than dogs because he LOVES his belly rubs. He does like playing with other dogs as well but not as much as people, for example at the dog park any time a new person comes inside the park, he would go to them and waits for them to pet him and give him belly rubs and then he goes back to playing with the dogs. He knows commands such as sit, lay, stand, “come here”, “stay” and “go”, and shake hands and he’s potty trained. He has very good manners, however he tends to get a little bit of anxiety when he’s in tight spaces, he’s not crate trained because of his anxiety so at home I just let him sleep wherever he feels comfortable because he’s been trained not to touch/eat stuff at home that would get him in trouble and he does a very good job of it. Because he’s such a smart dog… whenever we go to his pet hospital for check ups and vaccines, he gets anxious because he knows he’s going to be getting shots/ medicine, and same with grooming. Overall, Simba is a lovely dog, everyone at my local dog park knows him and are excited to see him because he loves people and they all know he goes around to everyone there for belly rubs.
