Arthur (GG)

We have had Arthur (formerly GG) home for a little over a week. What a joy it has been! He basically purred the entire first 24 hours he was here, seemingly so happy to be in his forever home. He preferred to be with us and sleep on our laps rather than alone. He was eager to be with his new family right away and seems to like nothing more than being petted, brushed, have his belly rubbed or napping and purring on our laps. He has been a perfect gentleman, never using his claws on anything he shouldn’t. He has been so gentle with our 2 year old and getting more used to her antics every day, rewarding her with purrs and rubbing up against her leg and rubbing his tail on her (which she calls “tailing”). He is a generally lazy guy who can’t wait until we get in bed at night so he can cuddle up with us, purring all night long. Arthur is a piece of our family that we didn’t even know was missing and he has taken his rightful spot In our home and hearts like it was meant for him.

This is the first time I have rescued a pet and it has been a great experience. Thank you to all the staff at the Dunn County Humane Society for the work you do and for bringing Arthur to us. Thanks especially to Becca.
Thank you!
